Keeping Up with Gen Y Talks with September Entrepreneur
Discusses what fearless young workers can accomplish!
AUSTIN, TX -- Sep 08, 2010 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- On Wednesday, September 8, Keeping Up with Gen Y talks to Stephanie Kaplan, the fourth guest in our new monthly series, Y Gen Entrepreneurs. The series focuses on the stories of young movers and shakers as they navigate their way through the challenges and joys of being their own boss.
This month's episode, titled "Generation Y Diving into Entrepreneurship: What Fearless Young Workers Can Accomplish," features Kaplan, co-founder and CEO of Her Campus Media, an online magazine for college women, produced entirely by the nation's top student journalists. In July, Stephanie and her co-founders were named to Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30 Coolest Young Entrepreneurs.
Kaplan joins Keeping Up with Gen Y to talk about the importance of finding the right business partners when beginning a new company. She also challenges would-be young entrepreneurs to move past the need for certainty and take that plunge into the start up pool.
New episodes of the "Y Gen Entrepreneurs" series air every second Wednesday of the month. Keeping Up with Gen Y, which airs new episodes every Wednesday on the WomensRadio Network, is hosted by Tamara Bell, editor-in-chief of Y Gen Out Loud, an online news site for Generation Y to learn about and discuss national political and public policy issues.
