Designer Tamara Pogosian Fashion Week Runway Show
Spring 2011 Collection

New York, NY -- Sep 02, 2010 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Acclaimed fashion designer Tamara Pogosian launches her spring 2011 collection, Wednesday, September 15th, 7PM at the Time Warner Center's, Stone Rose Lounge, 10 Columbus Circle.

A former freelancer for Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, Pogosian launches her new collection of young, sexy and elegant clothes with an eye to the coming trends of Spring 2011.

Constructed of only the most luxurious materials, the entire collection is designed and draped by Ms. Pogosian to the finest detail, imbuing every piece with an extraordinary level of sophistication. 

Born in Yerevan, Armenia and raised in Moscow, Russia, where she studied fine arts and first developed an interest in fashion design. In 1992 Tamara Pogosian moved to New York City, where she attended the Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), concentrating on fine arts, graphic design and fashion apparel. While studying in New York City, Tamara began working in the fashion industry, strategically involved in all aspects of the business, including design, production and sales. Working as a freelance designer in women's and men's apparel, Tamara was inspired to create her own collection, which debuted in 2002. Ms. Pogosian has been nominated for the FGI's Rising Star Award in Ready-to-Wear two years in a row.
