Art with a View, Regional Art Venue Sets New Date
November 18 and 19th Art with a View---- to promote area artists

Monroe, LA -- Sep 17, 2011 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Art with a View in Monroe, LA has many artists of every media. The annual show has changed dates from a December show to November 18 and 19th, a Friday night patrons show and the 19th is an open to the public show. 

The venue is the Premier Plaza , located at 1900 North 18th Street, which is a local landmark building in Monroe, LA. The black box nickname is due to the glass building that is black during the day but does have a beautiful way of showing the sunset in the afternoon. 

Each year 50 artists are selected to be a part of the juried show, balancing each form/medium into a good blend for the public.  

Cindy Ingram, art coordinator said, "We have been selecting and accepting artists for the last few months, we are closing out several medias now. If you are intersted in showing your work, a sample picture of your medium must be sent to be looked at by the jury and then an invitation is issued. We have done this the last few years to be able to grow the show into a huge holiday event for the Monroe Symphony Orchestra."
