December 1, 2009 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Three Dallas/Fort Worth charities and their Ambassadors are currently competing for a portion of the $20,000 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' prize.

The three 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' Ambassadors-- from The SPCA of Texas, Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Texas-- each received a 2010 GMC Terrain crossover SUV, a $400 gas card, and a Flip video camera to document their GMC Terrain driving experience.

The Ambassadors will participate in various competitions and campaign on www.facebook.com/GMCDFW to win a share of $20,000 for their charity. The remaining competitions facing the ambassadors include:

11/30-12/5 Scavenger Hunt On November 30, Ambassadors started receiving the first items from the list of 11 scavenger hunt items. Throughout the week the Ambassadors will post the items on their individual Facebook walls and tell friends to bring them to the Scavenger Hunt event on Saturday, December 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at North East Mall in Hurst. The first Ambassador whose Facebook friends deliver all 11 scavenger hunt items, loads them into his/her Terrain and then posts a picture of the loaded Terrain on Facebook wins $350 for their charity. The second prize is $100 and the third prize is $50. Additionally, the first friend arriving at the specified location on time, with each of the 11 items, will win a $25 gift card.

12/7-12/13 Famous Photo Competition The Ambassador who collects the most pictures of his/her Terrain at a famous location or with a famous person wins the challenge. Ambassadors will visit a list of ten locations or events and photograph their Terrain with a famous landmark. Besides photos at the 10 sites, Ambassadors are encouraged to post on their personal pages many other pictures with famous landmarks and people. The Ambassador with the most photos posted on their Facebook page by 11:59 p.m. CST on Sunday, December 13 wins $500 for their charity.

12/14-12/20 Music Video Competition Each Ambassador must create an original music video using their Terrain and post it to their Facebook page. The video with the most "likes" wins $500 for their charity. The Ambassadors will create an original song, or rap lyrics, that describe their charity and at least three benefits of the Terrain, then create a music video that includes the Terrain. The music for the video will be pre-recorded and then played back on an iPod or MP3 player using the Terrain’s sound system.

The total $20,000 'GMC Terrain Charity Challenge' prize package will be awarded as follows: each of the charities will receive a percentage of the $15,000 Grand Prize, based on the percentage of the total votes that they receive on www.facebook.com/GMCDFW by December 20; each of the Ambassadors will earn $1,000 if they complete the required number of Facebook.com/GMCDFW postings; and each of the Ambassadors will have the chance to win one of four $500 challenges over the five-week competition.
