Nov. 6, 2009/ ( http://www.myprgenie.com ) --MC Dealers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area are giving away a $25 gift card daily to the fans of GMC at Facebook.com/GMCDFW. “We will be picking one fan at Facebook.com/GMCDFW every day for a $25 gift card through December 20,” says Carey Williams, President of the Dallas GMC Local Marketing Association. “Then fans will be entered to win $1000 when they vote for one of the three competing charities between November 16 and December 20, 2010.” The $25 daily gift card giveaway is part of the “GMC Terrain Charity Challenge.” Three Dallas/Fort Worth charities will be selected to compete for proceeds benefitting their cause. Ambassadors for each charity will be selected to drive the all-new 2010 GMC Terrain for one month and compete in various challenges while campaigning via social media to win votes for the charity they are representing. The three charities and three Ambassadors will be announced November 9. The daily contest is not limited to new fans for the day. “When you become a fan at Facebook.com/GMCDFW, you’re eligible to win every day throughout the contest,” Mr. Williams said. The contest ends on December 20, 2009. The three ambassadors in the Dallas/Fort Worth $20,000 “GMC Terrain Charity Challenge” will each receive a 2010 GMC Terrain crossover SUV for a month, a $400 gas card, and a Flip video camera to document their GMC Terrain driving experience. The Ambassadors will compete to win cash for their favorite charity. The Ambassadors will also encourage their friends to become a fan of GMC Dallas/Fort Worth at Facebook.com/GMCDFW and then vote for their selected charity. The charity with the most votes wins. Voting for the charities begins November 16, 2009. The total $20,000 “GMC Terrain Charity Challenge” prize package will be awarded as follows: each of the charities will receive a percentage of the $15,000 Grand Prize, based on the percentage of the total votes that they receive on Facebook by December 20, each of the drivers will earn $1,000 if they complete the required number of Facebook postings, and the drivers will have the chance to win weekly $500 challenges over the four week competition. “The launch of the new GMC Terrain gives us the opportunity to help three Dallas/Fort Worth charities and also showcase the versatility of this unique crossover SUV,” said Mr. Williams.
